Brisbane Executive Club

The Brisbane Executive Club is the alumni chapter of the BGSB. Its members are made up of current and past students of the postgraduate programs offered by BGSB who benefit from the amazing networking opportunities that BGSB can offer - during and beyond their studies at QUT.

Fostering Executive Women (FEW)

The Fostering Exceutive Women (FEW) is an interest group founded by BGSB's Associate Professor Caroline Hatcher, for female students and graduates of QUT's Graduate Business Programs. FEW was established in May 2003.

John Heine Entrepreneurial Challenge

The BGSB is host of the John Heine Entrepreneurial Challenge (formerly MOOT CORP® Australia). The John Heine Challenge is a new venture planning competition for MBA students only. It simulates the process of entrepreneurs soliciting start-up funds from investors. Students prepare a plan for a real business which is judged in conjunction with a Presentation and a Q & A Session. The winner of John Heine Challenge goes on to represent Australia at the International MOOT CORP finals in Texas, USA.

Small Enterprise Association of Australia & New Zealand

SEAANZ is Australasia's leading small enterprise association of professionals in practice, education, training and government. SEAANZ (Queensland) was formed in 2003 to bring together people from many different sectors who all have a common interest, i.e. the development of small business in our state. This includes business owners, suppliers to small businesses, researchers, professional advisors, service providers, educators, and policy makers.
