The Brisbane Executive Club (BEC) is the alumni chapter of the BGSB. Its members are made up of current and past students of the postgraduate programs who benefit from the amazing networking opportunities that BGSB can offer - during and beyond their studies at QUT.
Ultimately, the purpose of the BEC is to ensure that everyone benefits from the amazing BGSB network, and to enable alumni to continue their links with the School in whichever ways they would like. The purposes for which the Chapter is organised are to:
- Establish and maintain communication, consultation and cooperation between BGSB alumni, students and the School.
- Develop and sponsor activities for BGSB Alumni and students.
- Provide services to Alumni and students, including professional development opportunities, local and international social and business networking, access to internships, and career networking.
- Enhance the public image and presence of the University and the BGSB through its Alumni.
- Strengthen the connection between Alumni members through the group's activities.
- Cooperate with the BGSB in recruiting students and promoting the School's reputation.
- Inform members about the activities of BGSB and the University.
