Entrepreneurs' Forum: Disruptive Innovation - 31 May 2007
Dr Peter Thomond provides insight into how businesses can enter a market and disrupt its strongest incumbents. Do you understand how businesses or new technologies with seemingly small markets start to displace those that are more established in the market?
“…disruptive innovations change the rules of the game, they usually kill firms who don’t see them coming, and create bags of new wealth for those that do…”
(Director of Ergonomics, IDEO, London)
Dr. Thomond is a pragmatist and energetic speaker who enlightened the participants about one of the important strategic phenomena in today’s competitive business environment. See presentation slides here.
