The BGSB is aware that many of our graduates are unable to attend QUT's Graduation Ceremony (held twice a year). The Graduand Function is our way of personally recognising finishing students and giving them the send off they deserve.
In saying that, all graduating students are invited to attend the Graduand Function, even if you are able to attend the official Graduation Ceremony. Recognition certificates and gifts will be presented to those students completing their studies.
The Graduand Functions are held at the conclusion of each teaching period. If, for example, you are finishing your studies in 6TP3, you are then eligible to attend the June Graduand Function.
Formal invitations will be sent, but if you know what semester you will be completing your studies and would like to attend the corresponding Graduand Function, please contact Debra Cross at BGSB via email: d.cross@qut.edu.au
Please note that students who complete their studies in 6TP1/2/3 will officially graduate in the following semester's ceremony, whilst students who complete in 6TP4/5/6 will not attend the official ceremony until the following year.
